Obtaining a UAE Residency Visa – Other nationalities, other than UAE and GCC residents, must obtain a UAE residency visa in order to lawfully live and work in Dubai and other emirates.
For many working expats, the firm that employs them will sponsor them for a UAE residence visa, OR you may build up your own company (Free zone or Local LLC company) and obtain the resident visa as the owner of your company.
A residency visa is also required to acquire a driver’s license, register a car, apply for a PO Box, purchase property, and open a bank account in the UAE, among other things.

JSB offers support for three different types of visas: dependents residence visas, visit visas, and employment/residency visas.
The first step, the issuance of the entry permit, typically takes three to five working days. However, the immigration department must approve this first.
The process of getting the Visa stamped can then take another week or so.
NOTE: Because we work with so many different free zones, their timelines vary.
Send us a copy of your passport, a photo the size of your passport, and a few of your personal data to get started. But because we work with so many different free zones, and occasionally their needs and processes vary from one , please contact us for a more thorough explanation and requirements.
Depending on the size of the chosen office, your firm may be eligible for a certain number of visas.
For instance, if you choose a physical location, you would be qualified for one visa for every nine square meters.
