Process of Company Formation for DSOA

Regardless of where you are, abroad or in the UAE, you can remotely register your company, and the process will be completed within 2-3 weeks.

The process of company formation starts with a selection of an office facility. We suggest you view them in order to get a proper understanding of all offers.

Step 1: Determine your business activity and the type of license offered by DSOA that suits you.

It is of utmost importance to approach this particular question carefully, as selection of the wrong location, registration authority, or activity can lead to issues during the registration process of the company. This can further lead to issues with getting a residence visa or opening a bank account.

Step 2: DSOA requires a minimal package of documentation. You must prepare all required documents.

The documents required include:

  • visa
  • mobile number
  • residential address and email address
  • photo
  • passport with the validity of six months

This set of documents is necessary if there is a group of shareholders. Notarized documents need to be presented by the group of shareholders when they decide to form a company. These documents include:

  • trade license
  • certificate of incorporation
  • memorandum and AoA

After all the necessary paperwork has been drafted and all needed documents have been compiled, you are required to pay the necessary fees for the process of registration. Then you will be allowed to proceed with the application.

Step 3: Receive the registration and license documents for the company

These documents include:

  •  Articles of association and MoA
  •  lease agreement
  •  trade license
  •  certificate of incorporation

Step 4:

Receive the card of establishment, which allows you to sponsor residence visas and contains information about your company

Step 5: Apply for an entry permit

If you’re from outside the UAE, then you must arrive in the country to get your permit for entry stamped. Then you can proceed with the rest of the residence visa process through the submission of all necessary documents.

After the entry permit has been issued, if you’re in the UAE, you will have to change the status of your visa from the previous one to residence visa.

Step 6:

Submit documents for a residence visa after undergoing a medical checkup.

Step 7:

Apply for an Emirates ID Card.

Step 8:

Complete the process of biometrics in one of the Emirates ID centers.

Step 9:

Once the results of the biometrics and medical test have been received, you can submit all necessary documents for the approval of your visa. Through your email, you will receive your electronic visa. You can further find your electronic visa in the UAE ICP app.

Step 10: You will receive your Emirates ID

After the issuance of your residence visa, the government will prepare a plastic identity card.

This is a required document, as this will aid you in the process of opening your bank account along with paying fines and bills and renting an apartment. You will further be entitled to many local discounts and services.

Step 11: You need to open a bank account

You can open a corporate bank account by applying to any bank in the UAE. The process of approval may be completed within weeks. You can start running your business in the UAE after receiving the details of your account.
